RF7 Inverted Front End
RF7 Inverted Front Forks and RF7 Complete Triple Tree Kit
What Harley models does the RF7 Inverted Front Suspension fit?
The RF7 Inverted Front Suspension is built for heavy Harley-Davidson motorcycles and performance-focused custom builds. The oversized fork body, stronger spring rate, and wide adjustment range are designed to provide better support for Harley Touring, performance bagger, and other heavy Harley applications.
The RF7 inverted fork tubes can be configured for different Harley models, but direct installation depends on the correct triple tree, front-end mounting setup, wheel setup, axle size, brake system, and fender clearance.
Please select the correct triple tree kit for your specific Harley model to properly match the bike with the RF7 inverted fork tubes.
What are the RF7 fork tube diameters?
The RF7 inverted fork uses a heavy-duty structure designed for Harley Touring and performance bagger builds. Key fork dimensions include 48mm lower tube, 55mm upper clamp area, and 65mm main body. This larger fork design is built to deliver a more planted front-end feel, better front-end rigidity, and improved control under braking.
What is the adjustable height range of the RF7 front fork?
The RF7 front fork offers an adjustable height range of approximately 0–2 inches / 0–50.8mm over the stock front-end height, depending on setup. This allows riders to fine-tune the bike’s front ride height, stance, and suspension geometry, especially when paired with taller rear shocks or a performance bagger suspension setup.
Does the RF7 front fork support suspension adjustment?
Yes. The RF7 inverted front fork supports adjustable preload, compression damping, and rebound damping. Riders can fine-tune the front-end feel based on rider weight, riding style, road conditions, two-up riding, and loaded Touring use. The large aluminum knob controls preload, the blue adjuster controls compression, and the red adjuster controls rebound.
Do the RF7 Inverted Front Forks fit OEM Harley calipers?
Yes. The standard RF7 front fork setup is designed to work with OEM Harley brake calipers. Riders upgrading to 108mm radial-mount calipers need a dedicated radial brake caliper bracket kit, sold separately.
What ignition or steering lock setup does the triple tree support?
The RF7 triple tree supports three installation configurations: no ignition switch on the triple tree, ignition switch installed, or steering lock only without an ignition switch. This gives riders options for a clean cockpit build, keyless-style setup, or traditional ignition switch setup depending on the bike year and build style.
RF7 108mm Radial Brake Calipers
Below are some common questions about our products
What brake rotor size works with SuperGear 108mm radial-mount calipers?
SuperGear RF7 108mm radial-mount calipers can be used with different brake rotor sizes, depending on the height and design of the caliper bracket.
SuperGear has developed both axial caliper brackets and radial caliper brackets for 300mm, 320mm, and 330mm brake rotors.
Before installation, always confirm that the brake rotor diameter, caliper bracket, front fork setup, and caliper mounting position are correctly matched. Mixing rotor sizes, caliper brackets, and caliper positions from different platforms is one of the most common fitment mistakes on a custom Harley brake upgrade.
What material are the caliper pistons made from?
SuperGear RF7 108mm Radial Brake Calipers use aluminum alloy pistons. This helps keep the caliper lightweight while supporting consistent braking performance for Harley Touring, performance bagger, and custom front-end builds.
What are the main specs of the SuperGear RF7 108mm Radial Brake Calipers?
SuperGearRF7 108mm Radial Brake Calipers use a 4-piston design, with an approximate weight of 2.31 lb / 1.05 kg per caliper, 32mm piston diameter, T6061 forged aluminum alloy body, CNC precision machining, and mirror nickel-plated finish. For dual-caliper setups, they can be paired with a 17.5mm or 19mm master cylinder, depending on the complete brake system and rider preference.
Wheels
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
Are SuperGear wheels compatible with OEM brake rotors?
SuperGear wheels are designed for Harley Touring models, but OEM brake rotor fitment depends on the brake rotor bolt pattern and bolt circle diameter / BCD, not only the rotor diameter. Before ordering, please confirm your Harley year and model, brake rotor bolt circle diameter, and hub fitment. SuperGear hubs are designed for 5-bolt brake rotors with an 82.6mm BCD. If your OEM rotors or aftermarket brake rotors use a different bolt circle, they may not mount correctly to the hub.
Are SuperGear wheels compatible with ABS models?
Yes. SuperGear wheel hubs are designed to be compatible with the factory Harley ABS sensor, ABS wheel bearing setup, and correct wheel spacer configuration when the proper hub is selected for your bike. Before installation, confirm your bike year, model, axle size, wheel position, ABS setup, and spacer requirements.
What bearing size does the SuperGear wheel hub use?
The SuperGear wheel hub uses an SKF 6205 sealed bearing on one side, with a 25mm bearing bore, 52mm bearing seat, and 15mm bearing width. The other side uses a Harley-specific ABS sensor bearing designed to work with the factory ABS system.
This hub is designed specifically for SuperGear wheel fitment. Before installation, please confirm your Harley axle size, front or rear wheel position, and required wheel spacer setup.
Do SuperGear wheels require SuperGear hub components?
Yes. SuperGear wheels must be used with SuperGear hub components to ensure proper wheel alignment, bearing setup, brake rotor mounting, ABS compatibility, and wheel spacing.
Fitment with other brands’ parts has not been verified by SuperGear and must be test-fitted by the installer. Before ordering, please confirm your Harley year, model, axle size, brake rotor bolt pattern, and required spacer configuration.
RF7 Risers
What Harley models do RF7 Risers fit?
RF7 Risers are designed for Harley models that use a 3.5-inch center-to-center riser mounting pattern and handlebars with a 1-inch clamping area. They are commonly used on Harley Touring, Road Glide, Street Glide, Softail, Dyna, performance bagger, and club-style builds. Before ordering, confirm your triple tree mounting pattern, handlebar clamp diameter, cable length, wiring length, and fairing clearance.
How do I choose the right handlebar risers for my Harley?
When choosing handlebar risers for a Harley, consider riser height, pullback, and handlebar style. Riser height affects your hand position, upper-body posture, and cockpit feel. Pullback risers bring the bars closer to the rider and can reduce forward reach. The best riding position usually keeps your hands slightly below shoulder height, your back naturally straight, and your arms relaxed.
How do I choose between Straight and Pullback risers?
Choose Straight Risers if you want a direct, upright cockpit position and do not need the bars brought closer. Choose Pullback Risers if you want to reduce reach, bring the bars closer, and create a more relaxed riding position. Pullback risers are often a better choice for riders who feel stretched out with their current setup.
Do RF7 Risers support internal wiring?
Yes. RF7 Risers support internal wiring for a cleaner Harley cockpit setup. Make sure all wires are routed properly and have enough slack for full left-to-right steering movement. Professional installation is recommended for the cleanest result.
Is the carbon fiber on RF7 Risers real carbon fiber?
Yes. RF7 Risers use a real carbon fiber sleeve over a CNC-machined billet aluminum structure. This gives the risers a performance bagger look while keeping the strength and support of a billet aluminum riser body.
RF7 Master Cylinders
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
Are SuperGear master cylinders compatible with Touring OEM handlebars?
Yes. SuperGear RF7 master cylinders are designed to fit Harley Touring OEM handlebars without major modification when the correct application is selected. They can also be used with many aftermarket handlebars, but handlebar diameter, control clearance, mirror position, brake line routing, and switch housing fitment should be checked before installation.
Do SuperGear RF7 master cylinders require wiring modification?
No major wiring modification is required. The SuperGear RF7 master cylinder includes its own brake switch and is designed to connect with the bike’s factory wiring harness.
It is designed as a straightforward bolt-on installation, but professional installation is still recommended to properly bleed the brake system, check switch function, and verify safe operation before riding.
What brake fluid should I use?
Use DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid only, unless your specific brake system requires otherwise. Do not use DOT 5 silicone brake fluid. If your bike previously used DOT 5, the brake lines and system must be completely flushed before installing the new master cylinder.
