To adjust preload:

Turn the preload adjuster counterclockwiseto its softest position, then rotate clockwise to increase springpreload or counterclockwise to decrease spring preload.The adjuster provides 12 full turns of adjustment with 1.25mmper turn, offering a total adjustment range of 0-15mm.

Where should the preload be placed?

It's time to fine-tune according to your riding style. Excellent Guidance as I Wait for the Right Color Kit”
I have not yet finalized my purchase, as I am waiting for the kit color I really want, which unfortunately is out of stock for a few days.
