Can I install your fender on a 19 inch wheel?
Yes. All SuperGear carbon fiber front fenders come with mounting brackets that are compatible with both 19 inch and 21 inch front wheels.
Which model of carbon fiber front fender is compatible with fat front tires?
SuperGear performance Carbon Fiber ST Front Fender fits perfectly.
Received my front fender and there are no holes drilled. What size holes do they need to be?
- Recommended drill bit: Use a sharp HSS or diamond-coated drill bit. A brad-point or carbide bit is also acceptable if available.
- Hole size: The standard hole size is 8mm, but please confirm based on your mounting hardware.
- Drilling tips: Drill at low speed and without too much pressure to avoid delamination. Place a piece of wood underneath to support the back side and prevent splintering. Masking tape can be applied over the area before drilling to reduce surface chipping.
How tight do you thighten the bolts？
Around 5–7 Nm (4–5 ft-lbs) is generally safe for carbon fiber mounting holes.
What finish do SuperGear Performance carbon fiber parts have? Will they fade over time?
Each piece features a UV-resistant, high gloss clear coat finish that protects against UV rays, heat, and moisture, preventing yellowing or fading over time.
